Symptom screener — not a diagnosis
Adult ADHD symptom screener
Answer how often each statement fits you in the last six months. Scores show possibility, not certainty — then we suggest a sensible next step with a psychologist if needed.
1. Attention
I have trouble staying focused on tasks that are boring or detailed, even when they matter.
2. Follow-through
I start projects or responsibilities with good intentions but leave them unfinished.
3. Organization
I lose track of things I need (keys, messages, deadlines) or my spaces stay messy despite trying.
4. Getting started
I put off starting important tasks until urgency or panic finally pushes me.
5. Restlessness
I feel restless, fidgety, or mentally “on” — even when I am sitting still.
6. Impulsivity
I interrupt, speak too quickly, or make decisions before thinking them through.
Answer all six items to see a result.
This is an original educational symptom screener for adults — not the official WHO ASRS, not a medical diagnosis, and not a substitute for clinical assessment. Scores show possibility, not certainty. In crisis in Nepal, call TUTH Helpline 1166.
Free online quizzes often overclaim. This page is deliberately softer: possibility bands, clear limits, and a path to human care — not a label from a website.
How to use this screener
- Answer how often each statement fits you over about the last six months
- See a lower / mixed / higher possibility band — not a pass/fail diagnosis
- If the band is higher or life is still hard, check fit with a clinician next
- Your answers stay in your browser — we do not store screener scores on our servers

Common questions
- Is this an official ASRS ADHD test?
- No. This is an original educational checklist inspired by common adult ADHD domains. It is not the WHO Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale and does not produce a clinical diagnosis.
- If I score high, do I have ADHD?
- No. A higher band means your answers are above this form’s screening threshold and may indicate ADHD-like patterns. Only a qualified clinician can assess ADHD after a proper history.
- If I score low, am I fine?
- Not necessarily. Low scores mean ADHD is less likely from these answers alone. Screeners miss some people. If work, study, or relationships still struggle, seek help anyway.
- What should I do after the screener?
- Read the result band, then decide: clarity call, see availability for adult ADHD therapy, or keep reading guides. Continue only if the approach fits you.
- Is this an emergency tool?
- No. If you are in crisis in Nepal, call TUTH Helpline 1166. Use local emergency services wherever you are.
